Looking for a break in the Champagne region? Opt for a 2-day, 1-night truffle-focused gastronomic stay at Villa de la Croix. Located in the heart of the Aube region, south of Champagne, this 19th-century guest house is in the small village of Villechétif. It’s 10 minutes from the historic center of Troyes and 7 minutes from the Mac Arthur Glen factory outlet. The lakes of the Orient Forest are also 10 minutes from the property.

The package includes one night’s accommodation in one of the villa’s guest rooms. It also includes 2 gourmet breakfasts for 2 and 2 gourmet truffle dinners on Saturday evening. You’ll also enjoy a 30-minute cooking class, to learn how to concoct a truffle butter that you can easily reproduce at home.

- Sunday morning truffle hunting in the Clairvaux forest, followed by Champagne tasting at our partner winegrower’s. This service costs €100 for 2 people and is payable directly to the winegrower.

Opening times
This stay is only available from mid-October to mid-December, and only on specific weekends.

Arrival is from 4:00 pm on Friday.
Departure from our Villa is around 9:00 am on Sunday morning, after which you can visit our partner winegrowers for a memorable truffle hunt in the Clairvaux forest.

About
Villa de la Croix
Our guest house is an old Champagne farmhouse from 1903 which has been completely renovated. It is located in the small and quiet village of Villechétif, 10 minutes from the center of Troyes. We offer 5 guest rooms, a gîte, an outdoor swimming pool heated from May to September and a seminar room.
We also offer our guests the possibility to eat at our table d'hôtes which is open every day except Sundays. We are passionate about gastronomy and like to honor the delicious products of our region.
We speak English and German and offer many services to our guests such as bicycle rental and the organization of visits to Champagne cellars.
