L’Essentiel Tour plunges you into the heart of the Champagne region’s magnificent wine-growing landscapes. The tour takes you on a ride in a vintage car, with commentary on the destination and how the vines are grown. Through hillsides and valleys, embrace an exceptional natural setting and discover the history of Champagne.

Departing from Épernay, the historic capital of Champagne, the tour takes you to discover atypical houses, luxurious hotels and great champagne houses. The tour then continues through the vineyards where the famous pinot noir, meunier and chardonnay grapes are grown. During your Essentiel Tour, your guide will explain to you how these three grape varieties, so popular with wine lovers, are made.

To round off your roadtrip, enjoy a glass of champagne in the middle of the vineyards! To accompany your glass of champagne, try Reims’ famous pink cookies. You can also try the sabrage experience, offered as an optional extra. And don’t forget to immortalize the moment by taking a few shots in front of these wonderful landscapes.
