Bezonvaux, a battered village (1914-1940)
Plunge into the heart of a moving past with this unique tour recounting the tragic destiny of Bezonvaux!
This Meuse village was devastated by the conflicts of the 20th century. Between 1914 and 1940, soldiers and civilians, French and foreign, saw their destinies intertwined with that of this vanished village, forever marked by the ravages of war.
Maxime Baschirotto, grandson of Italian immigrants, offers an original tour! You’ll follow an itinerary through the red zone, where the scars of the fighting are still visible. Through his story, Maxime will bring to life the poignant history of Bezonvaux, and share with you a personal account of his own family between 1930 and 1945.
It’s an authentic and deeply moving immersion in a past that time has not erased. You’ll be captivated by this extraordinary experience, between memory and transmission.
A guided tour full of history and emotion!
