Eco-tourist and artistic outing in the heart of the Côtes de Meuse

Welcome to the world of ceroplastic artist Chantal Guery!

She leads you into a world where each unique creation is the fruit of her boundless imagination. Her work, based on the fusion of glass with a blowtorch and the encaustic technique, will enable you to discover some very beautiful pieces.

Chantal welcomes you to her studio in Viéville-sous-les-Côtes, a charming Côtes de Meuse village surrounded by mirabelle plum orchards and vineyards. She invites you to discover the art of working glass with a blowtorch or encaustic. Her workshop has been awarded the "Valeurs Parc" label by the Parc Naturel Régional de Lorraine.

Between June and September 2022, set off on an artistic expedition during an eco-tourism outing in the heart of the Côtes de Meuse. See, touch, listen, smell and taste nature, its landscapes, its history and its know-how: ecotourism invites you to discover these treasures in a different way, through sensory experiences, unexpected encounters and responsible adventures.

After a welcome at Chantal's workshop, visit the apiary and meet a local beekeeper. You'll then return to the workshop to discover encaustic, a technique used since antiquity.

Above all, you can try your hand at it: each visitor can try out the tools and create his or her own "work of art".
