Formerly called the French Railway Museum, this transport museum was created on June 12, 1971 in the half-round of Mulhouse-Nord. Five years later, its final location was inaugurated in the heart of Dornach. The Cité du Train retraces the history of the railroads in France since the very beginning. Whether you are alone, a couple, with friends or with your family, come and visit the largest railway museum in Europe.
Be sure to see a lot, because the Cité du Train houses an extraordinary collection of about a hundred locomotives, wagons and trains, but not only. A real heritage spread over three exhibition areas, namely the Parcours Spectacle, the Quais de l'Histoire and the Panorama Ferroviaire. See you soon!
