Winegrower immersion!

Join Benjamin for an exciting winegrowing immersion in Champagne! As an independent winemaker at Domaine Boude Baudin, he’ll take you to the heart of the vineyards and his Maison, to immerse you in his craft and his passion. Let yourself be guided, and come behind the scenes of champagne-making! For the pleasure of your senses, a tasting session is also included!

Benjamin welcomes you to Cormoyeux, a charming village in the Champagne region. Passionate about the vines and the land, but also in love with a job well done, he’ll introduce you to the Champagne region as a whole, and introduce you to the different grape varieties grown in the family vineyard. What are their particularities? How are they nurtured through the seasons? Benjamin will be delighted to answer your questions, and will also let you watch the work in progress for even more discoveries.

After this initial introduction, enjoy a walk to the traditional wine press in the village. Here, Benjamin will explain the entire Champagne-making process, from harvesting to bottling, including the various stages of vinification. The ancestral method of « dégorgement à la volée » (disgorging on the fly) will also be revealed during a convivial workshop. What’s more, the tour will give you the chance to get your hands dirty by dressing a few bottles.

Lasting 1 hour 30 minutes, this winegrower immersion will also include a tasting session. 3 cuvées of your choice to explore the flavors and aromas of Champagne, to be tasted in the authentic Domaine Boude Baudin cellar!
