Champagne tasting at Domaine Godmé “In the footsteps of our ancestors”.
If you’re a wine enthusiast, why not discover the Godmé Sabine estate with our « In the footsteps of our ancestors » offer. With years of experience behind it, the Godmé Sabine Champagne House opens its doors to you for a guided tour and a 2-hour champagne tasting session in its new space.
The « In the footsteps of our ancestors » formula is available on the estate’s Verzenay terroir. Enjoy a unique encounter with the winemaker, discovering the different stages in the conception and elaboration of top-of-the-range Champagne. The secret of harvesting and bottling is revealed throughout the visit. You’ll also discover the estate’s various cellars, once dug by hand by their ancestors. The program also includes a tasting session of reserve wines and 3 champagnes from the estate, either on the premises or on the terrace with its panoramic views.
Rich in family history, the Godmé Champagne House boasts a privileged geographical location with medium-aged plots. Thoughtful cultivation methods have been adopted by successive generations to make the best use of the land. To promote the production of vintages, the winery focuses on limiting yields, grassing and reasoning, as well as inputs. Environmental protection has always been a priority.
As a family heritage, the estate has been run by four generations of winegrowers and boasts a terroir spread over 5 villages. The estate is located in Verzenay, Villiers-Mamery, Verzy, Beaumont-sur-Vesle and Montbré.
Accessible individually or in groups of 6 to 15 people, the estate offers you an unmissable adventure in a calm and peaceful contemporary setting. Let yourself be tempted and take full advantage of a guided tour and tasting session of the estate’s finest vintages.
