The Domaine de pêche à la mouche, 15 km south of Verdun, is a haven of peace for anglers, but also for those who love good food in a simple, friendly style.

This 19th-century building, converted into a lodge, offers 6 comfortable designer rooms ranging from 35 to 50 m2. One 50 m2 room is suitable for people with reduced mobility (PRM). This 3-star character property, which has been awarded the « accueil vélo » label, is located in a peaceful natural setting overlooking the ponds.

You’ll be staying in an enchanting setting: one of Europe’s finest trout fishing courses, with 12hA of which 4 are in water, and 3.5 km of shoreline. A succession of small lakes, crossed by a river and fed by numerous springs, make for crystal-clear water and enable all fly-fishing techniques (sight nymph, drowned, dry).

The British-style restaurant is a former orphanage dating from 1820, located 50 m from the hotel. Menus are based on the 4 seasons, using fresh produce of the moment and the chef’s inspiration. Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance.

There’s also a boutique with a wide selection of STETSON hats and caps.

Beyond comfort, the Domaine de Sommedieue offers 4 hiking and mountain-biking trails in the forest starting from the Domaine. You can also take a flight over sites of remembrance, visit the town of Verdun (15 km) or relax at the Madine leisure park.
