Family bivouac at Lac Blanc: a night of adventure under the stars

The first day begins at 2:00 p.m. from the Lac Blanc parking lot. After introductions, you’ll take an accessible 4-km hike through the mountain scenery. The pace is intentionally family-friendly so you can fully enjoy the panoramic views, observe wildlife, and discover the natural treasures of the Vosges. Once you arrive at the campsite, everyone helps set up camp in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. In the evening, enjoy a hearty trapper’s meal before taking in the tranquility of the mountains and gazing at the starry sky, far from any light pollution.

After a night camping in the heart of nature, you’ll wake up to a peaceful atmosphere overlooking the Vosges landscapes. The second day begins with an outdoor breakfast, followed by a discussion about camping and mountain life. A short 2-km hike then takes you leisurely to Lac Blanc, with a return scheduled for around 11 a.m. Throughout the trip, Nathanaël shares his expertise and educates participants on respecting nature and best practices in the mountains.
