Guided and commented walk through the maquis at Grandrupt-de-Bains

Immerse yourself in the poignant history of the Grandrupt Maquis, located in the forest west of Grandrupt-de-Bains. On a 4.5-kilometer trail, explore key sites of the Resistance during an immersive guided tour.

Accompanied by a passionate guide, you’ll walk along paths lined with meadows and forests typical of “La Vôge” .” Along the way, you’ll cross streams via rustic footbridges and discover the former training, parachute drop, and combat sites of the 367 men who left their mark on the summer of 1944. Learn their stories during this guided walk.

Highlight of the tour: a stop at the Croix de Lorraine Memorial. This symbolic site pays tribute to the 120 soldiers who fell in battle or died in deportation camps.
