Make the most of the European Heritage Days with a day of discovery at the Écomusée d’Alsace. Located in Ungersheim, this museum has been awarded the « Musée de France » label, and was designed in the image of an Alsatian village at the beginning of the 20th century. It houses an exceptional collection of buildings and everyday objects. You’ll also discover unique craft skills.
During the European Heritage Days, discover the Écomusée d’Alsace, and take part in a range of special events that will plunge you into the heart of this jewel of Alsace’s heritage. You’ll be able to go behind the scenes at the Ecomusée, and to celebrate these days of discovery even more, the site is offering an exceptional rate: for every admission purchased, the second is free! These exceptional days will be held on September 21 and 22, 2024, all day long. Admission is free for children under 3. Free parking is available to facilitate your visit. Pets are perfectly welcome.

BUILDINGS & BIODIVERSITY
Today, the Ecomusée d'Alsace consists of a village of 80 buildings representative of Alsace at the beginning of the 20th century, all dismantled from their commune of origin and reassembled in the museum. Around the village, on an area of 97 hectares, you'll find 4 signposted trails to discover biodiversity, as well as agricultural areas in biological transition.
Be curious! Push open the door of each house to discover the treasures it contains: a converted interior, an exhibition, a craftsman's workshop or a stable with animals!

The Ecomusée d'Alsace boasts an exceptional collection of over 40,000 objects, reflecting the daily lives of Alsatians. When the museum was created in 1984, Alsatians became passionate about this adventure and began sending regular donations to the museum.

When visiting with friends or family, take part in the activities that punctuate every day in the village: milking cows, feeding pigs, visiting the apiary, boat trips... and sample the traditional recipes prepared at the Maison des Goûts et des Couleurs...
