Guided family hike: my first lookout

Young and old adventurers, get ready for your first « affût »! Organized in the heart of the Munster Valley, this small-group educational outing will introduce you to the art of observing mountain fauna in complete tranquillity.

With the help of an enthusiastic guide, you’ll learn the basics of the art of stalking. The objective? To learn how to observe mountain animals without disturbing them. The aim of the outing is not to see as many animals as possible, but to teach you how to prepare yourself, blend in with the scenery and leave without leaving a trace. You’ll cover between 2 and 4 km, with a maximum ascent of 200 m. After a short approach walk, you’ll be asked to lie low and still for an hour.

Dress warmly in neutral colors. Bring binoculars and, if possible, a mat or similar to sit on if the ground is wet. Bring water and snacks, essential for any mountain excursion.

This activity is suitable for anyone over 5 years of age. A minimum of 2 participants is required. If this number is not reached, you will be informed in advance and reimbursed in full. A guide is included, but you are responsible for getting to the starting point on your own.
