Founded in 1549, the Tellure silver mine invites you on a journey back in time. This mining park is one of Alsace’s must-see tourist attractions. Its galleries, rich in history, are a delight for young and old explorers alike.
This new escape room combines discovery and fun. The story? A legendary dragon, hidden for centuries deep in the Tellure mine, is once again troubling the valley. Despite the inhabitants’ best efforts to contain it, its roars are becoming increasingly menacing, and it’s up to you to take the lead in protecting the Val d’Argent.
Armed with your courage and ingenuity, you’ll have about an hour to complete your quest. Decipher the riddles left by previous adventurers. Collect gems and brave the dragon’s lair with your offerings. If it’s not too late, you may have the chance to appease his wrath.
This activity is suitable for teams of 3 to 8 participants. Confined to a mine gallery, the group has 60 minutes to solve the mystery. Combine your talents, thinking skills and team spirit to find your way out… before time runs out!
To light your way, you’ll be provided with a helmet and headlamp. Just bring warm clothes, as the temperature in the room is 10°C.

Tellure – Mine d’Argent combines a “Cité de la Mine” museum with a guided underground tour of the 16th-century Saint-Jean Engelsbourg silver mine beneath the building. The classic tour includes: the guided underground tour (1h) + the museum part (1h) Dive into the depths of the earth… put on your helmet and off you go! The Tellure silver mine, dug by hand and exploited for almost 400 years In addition to this “classic” tour, other fun underground activities include caving, Via Ferrata and an Escape Game.
