Meet at the Gaschney ski resort (departure at 9:00 am) for an exceptional adventure in the heart of nature. From the parking lot, follow the hiking trails of the Hohneck loop and discover all the beauty of the Vosges massif, accompanied by your guide Alexandre TROESCH.

The Hohneck shows all the picturesque aspects of the Vosges mountains. This section of ridge is marked by a diversity of landscapes. Large rocky escarpments, cirques and traces of the Ice Age, as well as waterfalls and spring seeps follow one another along the trail. Biodiversity is characterized by stubble fields, peat bogs, wild flowers and endemic animal species. The hike is in total harmony with this exceptional natural environment.

The first section of the hike is quite steep. But it’s quickly rewarded with a view of the Schiessrothried lake and the Wormsawald valley. After stopping to admire this magnificent panorama, continue on to the highest point of the hike. From its vertiginous summit, you can enjoy even better views.

This 7 km circuit has a 300 m vertical drop. Its level of difficulty is accessible to all. It takes you through forest massifs, mineral landscapes and mountain pastures. It’s a unique and sensational experience in the heart of nature, accompanied by a guide who’s an expert in sport and the great outdoors.
