This traditional region, where vines share the land with the famous Munster cheese, perpetuates its heritage through a diversity of cheeses, from mountain tommes to goat’s milk cheeses. Come and discover and discuss these unique pairings with a passionate winemaker!

Committed to wine tourism for 20 years, Domaine Schoenheitz offers year-round experiences dedicated to lovers of Alsace wines. A discovery farm, member of diVINes d’Alsace and Slow Food 68, the estate proudly bears the « Vignobles et Découvertes », « Cave de Noël », « Alsace Écotourisme » and « Haute Valeur Environnementale » labels. Currently undergoing organic conversion, it is an example of respect for the terroir and the environment.

During your visit, you’ll receive a warm welcome and be immersed in the history of the valley and the vineyard. The winemaker will reveal the secrets of wine-making, from the grape to the bottle. Then join us in the cellar, settle down around a large table, and let yourself be seduced by a tasting of 5 carefully chosen wine & cheese pairings. Contrary to popular belief, white wine is the best ally for cheese, especially when faced with the tannins of red wine, which are often incompatible with dairy proteins. From Crémant to Gewurztraminer, each cuvée will be perfectly paired with local cheeses from the finest producers in the Munster Valley.
