Forge several objects of your choice

Come and learn the basics of blacksmithing, and leave with one or more objects of your own. Francis will guide you throughout your workshop.

Francis, blacksmith and metal sculptor, welcomes you to La Baffe, a rural village near Epinal, to share his passion for forging. He'll suggest a dozen models and guide you in your choice. You'll each have an anvil and your own equipment, so you can quickly give free rein to your imagination.

This workshop will give you the keys to mastering your heating and striking skills, and will lead you towards autonomy. You'll be able to bend, stretch, twist, dip, pierce and slice metal to your heart's content. Coal, iron, forge, protective equipment and tools will be at your disposal. Literature and discussion will also enliven the breaks, enabling you to understand the trade, the different irons used and their applications. Iron is infinitely recyclable, and forging also allows you to use directly reused iron.
