A Smart offer

Responsible, sustainable, respectful and forward-looking... The Grand Est Region is committed to developing a different kind of business tourism for the future, one that focuses on the experience, the environment and is in step with the technological revolutions.

Because sustainable events are the future, the partners in the Grand Est region's MICE sector are pioneers and have already been heavily involved in the development of sustainable and responsible events for several years. Many of them are already ISO 20121 certified, an international standard designed to control the social, environmental and economic impact of an event.

The new event industry is also digital, and our partners have already reinvented themselves to be in total harmony with the new trends that are helping to attract new audiences. Hotels and seminar venues are coming up with more and more offers to facilitate hybrid meetings, including video-conferencing systems and interactive touch screens. Event agencies, meanwhile, have developed a number of offers for events that can be held remotely, facilitating video recording and livestreaming at major venues in the Grand Est region.
