Auberge Saint Walfrid- Night “Côté Faïence de Sarreguemines
On the German border, the Auberge Saint-Walfrid welcomes you to its green setting. Spend an unforgettable weekend or just one night in Sarreguemines, at the charming Saint-Walfrid hotel****. Visit the Moselle through Lorraine’s gastronomy: as soon as you arrive, you’ll be charmed by this former outbuilding of the priory run by the monks of Tholey Abbey.
Stephan reserves one of the inn’s 11 rooms for you, in the world of Côté Faïence de Sarreguemines, where you can experience the Schneider family’s tradition of hospitality.
Daylight streams in through the large glass opening next to the double bed. There’s also a small sitting area where you can sip your favorite drink while soaking up the sunshine and enjoying the breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside. Authentic and elegant, your room with a view of the park welcomes you for the night. At breakfast, pastries, dairy products and cold meats delight the taste buds. Here, everything is homemade!
Sarreguemines is a renowned pottery town. Two museums and a garden are entirely devoted to this theme. At the Musée des Techniques Faïencières, the finest examples of faience production are on public display. The industrial wasteland adjacent to the museum has been given a new lease of life with the creation of the Jardin des Faïenciers.
