Between vineyards and heritage

This bucolic stage between ponds and vineyards links Metz and Pont-à-Mousson, two towns with a unique character and heritage.

After your cultural break in Metz, it's time to get back on the road for this 3rd leg. Leaving the city to the south, the Voie Bleue alternates between the Moselle and a series of ponds. Lovers of contemporary history should not hesitate to make a diversion to Scy-Chazelles, where the Maison Robert Schuman retraces the life of one of Europe's founding fathers.

Arriving at Jouy-aux-Arches, don't miss the best-preserved remains of a Roman aqueduct that once linked Gorze to Metz.

From Vaux to Novéant sur Moselle, the route again crosses theMoselle AOC area, whose grape varieties you discovered in stage 1. You can see the vineyard slopes nearAncy-Dornot. This is too good an opportunity not to try some of the delicious local wines*! In moderation, of course, as it's time to get back in the saddle for the rest of your adventure! From Vaux, the route skirts the western part of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park.

Once you're away from the Voie Bleue itinerary, head for the Pokeyland leisure park in Fey, which is sure to delight all explorers and adventurers! There's an accrobranche course, paintball, water activities, pony rides... and activities for all the family that promise a great day's fun in the great outdoors!

From Pagny-sur-Moselle to Pont-à-Mousson, the route runs calmly alongside the Canal Latéral à la Moselle. The rising silhouette of the Abbaye des Prémontrés announces your arrival in Pont-à-Mousson. Explore the corridors and staircases of this masterpiece of monastic architecture and recharge your batteries in one of its gardens. On the other side of the Moselle, stroll along Place Duroc and linger on a terrace to sample one of the beers* still produced in the town. And to finish on an unusual note, don't hesitate to push open the doors of the surprising Musée Au fil du Papier!
