From 26 November to 29 December 2024, the scent of cinnamon and mulled wine once again perfumes city squares transformed into real little villages. Colmar Christmas markets’ traditional chalets welcome you to stalls overflowing with surprises.

    Christmas traditions

    On Place de la Cathédrale, children eagerly post their wishes in Father Christmas’ huge letterbox. Set off with them in the footsteps of that bountiful, mystical young woman, the Christkindel, as you follow the Alsatian Christmas Tales and Legends itinerary. In the legendary “Little Venice”, you can hear the stirring carols sung by children’s choirs from the boats that ply its canals.
