A cocooning atmosphere guaranteed
A weekend in the Vosges means guaranteed relaxation thanks to the perfect combination of soothing nature, a warm atmosphere and rejuvenating activities.
A night in a chalet
Often nestled high up in the Vosges mountains, there are plenty of cosy chalets to choose from. Surrounded by fir trees in the forest or overlooking a lake, chalets in the Vosges offer a warm, intimate setting. The moment we love? Lighting your fire in the fireplace and warming up nearby while reading your favourite novel are unique experiences! From the windows of the chalet, you can admire a view that is both sublime and soothing. For maximum relaxation, take a moment to unwind in the chalet's SPA or Nordic bath.

A relaxing afternoon at the spa
A must in the Vosges: its spas. These establishments often combine traditional treatments with modern wellness areas, offering a unique experience in soothing natural surroundings. Head for the spa town of Plombières-les-Bains, nestling in a green setting at an altitude of around 450 metres and renowned for its healing waters. The resort has several thermal baths, including the famous Thermes Napoléon, which offer a wide range of treatments, from bubble baths to clay wraps and thermal showers.

Invigorating immersion in the heart of nature
At the top of the mountains, you can breathe pure, invigorating air, a guarantee of new-found serenity.
Discover the lakes
The lakes of the Vosges Massif are real jewels nestling in the heart of the mountains. Most of them were formed during the Ice Age, and are often bordered by dense forests, with their surface reflecting the sky, creating a fascinating spectacle. Nicknamed "the Pearl of the Vosges", Gérardmer lake is the largest in the region, nestling at an altitude of 660 metres. In winter, its tranquillity is almost unreal: the snow-covered hills and fir trees offer a magnificent landscape to walkers as they circumnavigate it. For those wishing to go further afield in search of peace and quiet, there is Lac de Longemer and Lac de Retournemer, particularly popular with the locals. The Lac Blanc in the Kaysersberg valley is another emblematic feature of the Vosges Massif. In the snow, Lac Blanc offers a truly picture-postcard landscape: a haven of peace surrounded by snow-covered nature, it's the ideal place to take a snowshoe hike to the heights and reach some spectacular viewpoints.

Sports activities
With its accessible mountains, dense forests, lakes and vast open spaces, the Vosges Massif offers a multitude of possibilities. Snow sports enthusiasts can try their hand at snowshoeing, snowboarding and, of course, skiing at resorts such as La Bresse-Hohneck, the largest ski resort in north-east France, and Gérardmer. A wide range of routes offer hikers the chance to embark on a guided walk through the Vosges countryside, providing a superb travelling show.
