Festival offers

The ballet of hot-air balloons: an open-air enchantment

From 25 July to 3 August, Chambley becomes the celestial stage for hundreds of hot-air balloons ready to take to the skies, morning and evening (weather permitting). Before take-off, the public is abuzz with excitement, crowding to the edge of the runway to watch the pilots and their teams parading towards the take-off air in a joyous and vibrant atmosphere.

Then, in the blink of an eye, the balloons take to the skies one by one, creating a spectacle as peaceful as it is magical. A moment suspended in time, where you forget everything to admire this moving tableau of a thousand colours. For the more adventurous, let yourself be tempted by a unique experience: a flight in a hot-air balloon. Between 2 and 3 hours of silence, beauty and lightness over the plains, forests and valleys of Lorraine. If you're lucky, you'll spot roe deer or herons in their natural habitat, adding a touch of poetry to this aerial escapade.

    Highlights not to be missed

The magic continues on the ground too! As night falls, let yourself be carried away by the water, sound and light shows of the Symphonic Fountain: a hypnotic aquatic ballet where each jet dances to the rhythm of the melodies.

In the early hours of the morning, as the darkness fades, the balloons of the "Dawn Patrol" prepare to take to the skies in search of the first rays of sunshine. There is total silence, with only the sound of the burners. Against a sky tinted pink and orange, the spectacle takes on an almost supernatural dimension. An invitation to daydream.

Rock out at the Gims concert

This year, Enenvol is also getting festive with a concert event on 26 July. Get ready to rock out to the hits of Gims, whose infectious energy and spellbinding rhythms will set the evening alight. An intense musical experience, to be enjoyed in the open air under the stars, as part of the daydream offered by the hot-air balloons.

    Extend your getaway around Chambley

Why not take advantage of the festival to explore the region? Set off to discover Metz and take a trip on an electric boat to discover the city and its charming little streets.

Or take your exploration as far as Pont-à-Mousson on the banks of the Moselle, or Nancy, an architectural gem listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The two towns are linked by the Voie Bleue, a peaceful cycle path running alongside the Moselle.

Fancy a spot of nature? Twenty minutes from Chambley, spend a day at Lac de Madine. Paddle, canoe or go to the Aquaparc: there's something for everyone, so you can get back to basics in a setting that's as soothing as it is sunny.
