Embark on a 5-day tour of the GR53 and GR5 trails and discover the magnificent Traversée du Massif des Vosges Alsace! From Saverne to Barr, this 117 km route takes you through the second half of the itinerary, offering spectacular views of castles, waterfalls and breathtaking panoramas on France’s only « Leading Quality Trail Best of Europe ». Walk at your own pace and savour the beauty of the Moyennes Vosges, with the Alsace plain and the Rhine as a backdrop!

The trip will follow an exceptional itinerary: each day, a detailed roadbook will guide you through the forests of the Vosges for a real immersion in nature. You’ll be provided with a GPX trace of the itinerary for your hiking application, 7/7 telephone assistance and detailed travel documents. Your luggage will be transported, up to a maximum weight of 15 kg per person, and will be waiting for you at each stage. However, repatriation insurance and return travel from Barr to Saverne are at your own expense.

Accommodation is for 4 nights in 3 or 4 star hotels, or equivalent in B&Bs, and is based on 2 people per room. To diversify your experience, the organization will alternate between luxurious establishments with swimming pools or saunas and simpler accommodations. All 4 breakfasts are included, as are tourist taxes. However, expect to pay extra for additional options available on site, as well as picnics, dinners and other extras.
