Whether you’re traveling alone, as a couple or with your family, these unusual accommodations are sure to meet your expectations. The single bubble houses can accommodate up to 2 people, while the family bubble houses sleep up to 4. These ovoid dwellings, representative of the utopian architecture of the 60s, were designed by visionary architects Pascal Haüsermann and Claude Costy. Now protected under the Monuments Historiques legislation, these buildings are a perfect illustration of their avant-garde vision.

In keeping with the spirit of its designers, the Eau Vive motel invites you to reconnect with the magic of the world. The estate is a vast garden island surrounded by the waters of the La Plaine River. From your bubble, you’ll enjoy a magnificent view of this rural setting. The single bubble house, with a surface area of 25m², is equipped with a double bed for 1 or 2 people. A bathroom with shower and WC is at your disposal. Bed linen and towels are provided.

A complimentary continental breakfast is available for all bookings made on site. You can enjoy it in the motel’s main reception bubble or on the terrace facing the island’s landscaped garden. Pets are welcome, and a discount is available for stays of 2 nights or more.

Located in the immediate vicinity of Raon l’Étape, the Eau Vive motel is also the starting point for a greenway. For the adventurous, this route takes you over 20 km through the Vallée de la Plaine to its source, the Donon massif.
