Holiday home ” Le Clos de Renée ” in Hautvillers

Staying with a Champagne winemaker is what the Maison de Champagne Joseph Desruets has to offer. You’ll be welcomed on its estate, in one of its accommodations in Hautvillers: the gîte « Le Clos de Renée ».

It’s an entire dwelling, an apartment to be precise. Modern and welcoming, it comprises a bedroom, a comfortable living room, a private bathroom and a kitchen. The bedroom has a double bed and a sofa bed. There’s also a second sofa bed in the living room. In other words, the gîte can accommodate up to 4 travellers. The kitchen is fully equipped, should you wish to get cooking.

During your stay, you’ll be offered a free tour of the Champagne Joseph Desruets estate. You don’t have to go far for this. Production takes place in the building adjoining the B&B. You’ll also have the opportunity to discover the oldest AOC press still in operation: it dates back to 1888, the year the company was founded! And, of course, the tour ends with a tasting of the cuvées. Who can beat that?
