For your next stay, are you looking for a pleasant, quiet location with plenty to do in the surrounding area? Les Gîtes du Holit is ideally located to offer guests all the advantages of the region. This vast property lies in the heart of the Lorraine Regional Nature Park, 2 km from Lac de Madine. Maryline and André Castelli have renovated this historic farmhouse with care and passion.
They have installed the gîte in the property’s courtyard, notably in the old bread oven. The gîte studio offers 25m² of independent space ideal for 2 people, with bed, living room, kitchen and shower room. You’ll sleep in the attic with a bed in a small mezzanine accessible by a small wooden staircase. All the equipment has been carefully chosen to give you total autonomy.
During your stay in this charming studio, you’ll enjoy the 4000m² of space offered by the property. To the rear, you’ll find a large enclosed garden with trees, a pétanque court and garden furniture ideal for reading or meditating. Whatever the season, you can always enjoy a swim in the heated outdoor pool.
The owners won their bet when they chose this winegrower’s house, which later became a farm and is now an excellent place to stay. In fact, the establishment is eco-responsible. It has been awarded the « Clévacances » and « Valeurs parc naturel régional » labels. Approvals that place it among the top-quality, sustainable accommodations.

Les Gîtes du Holit
Next to Lac de Madine, in the center of the Metz-Nancy-Verdun triangle, in the Lorraine Regional Nature Park, our gîtes are in an old, fully renovated Lorraine farmhouse. We have created an 80m² gîte for 3/4 people and a 25m² studio gîte for 2 people. They are independent, rated 4 and 2 stars respectively by "Atout France", 3 and 2 keys by "CléVacances" and labeled "Valeurs parc naturel régional". You'll find peace, comfort and tranquillity. To the rear, on 4000m² of enclosed land, you'll find a pétanque court, garden furniture, parking and our swimming pool, open and heated in season. A barbecue is also available. Beds (90 x 200 or 180 x 200) are made up on request for your arrival. Linen, towels and non-food essentials are provided, as is free wifi access.
We're close to Pont-à-Mousson, Toul, Commercy, Saint-Mihiel and the Côtes de Meuse, Chambley, not forgetting the medieval village of Hattonchâtel and the hilltop of Montsec with its American monument.
You'll find a grocery store, bar, restaurant and all kinds of shops within a radius of 3 to 5 kms.
We provide accommodation on site and are at your disposal for any questions or requests you may have to help you enjoy your stay.
We rent by the week and weekend.
