LE REFUGE DU REMPART
Stop here! You've arrived at the REFUGE DU REMPARTN in this typical Alsatian village where values are still authentic. Listen carefully.....and you'll hear Alsatian spoken in our little streets and in our 2 bakeries, or at the patisserie or in our mini-market!
Located on the mythical Route des Vins between Colmar and Strasbourg, Le Refuge, nestled in the heart of the town's ramparts, will seduce and relax you. Calm, serenity and rest will be the watchwords after a daily jaunt of 1/2 to 1 hour at most from pretty, picturesque villages (including our own, of course), castles and museums or water parks such as Rulantica or the Europa-Park theme park. For total relaxation, you can also reserve the sauna area for a private 2-hour session.
Sports enthusiasts are not forgotten: The Chemin de Compostelle, the GR5 and the Cycle Route 05 all pass within a few hundred metres of the Refuge. And for day hikers, you can climb up to Bernstein Castle, with its breathtaking views as your reward!

On the ground floor are the 3 gîtes with terraces:
The 1st gîte, "LA YAUTAFRED", is a duplex with 3 large, well-separated bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 3 toilets and a spacious living room opening onto the kitchen. It will welcome your group of 6 people in total privacy.
The second gîte "l'EDEN" for 2 people will delight you with its open-plan living space, bedroom, bathroom and terrace. This gîte is also accessible to people with reduced mobility (private parking just a few meters away).
The third gîte, "COTE REMPART", sleeps 2, with its terrace and cocooning area, decorated in a mix of wood and iron.
On the 1st floor are the 2 guest rooms for 2 people each:
Chambre MALO : a double bed, Italian shower, separate toilet, and a decor combining wood, iron and stone....from the balcony, a magnificent view of the nearby Rempart, vineyards, the Alsace plain and the Black Forest.
Chambre MANOUN : a double bed or 2 separate beds, as you wish, spacious bathroom with Italian shower, modern and Alsatian decor, with a magnificent view of the vineyards.
The INSOLITE accommodation consists in SLEEPING IN A TONNEAU: for 2 people, this space with its terrace will enchant you and take you out of your everyday life. The shower and toilet are just a few steps away from the barrel, at the foot of the Rempart.
Finally, L'OASIS DU VIGNERON, the relaxation area with private sauna, can be made available on request.
