Unusual stay in a tepee in Western City
Take a leap in time and let yourself be carried away by the atmosphere of the far-west. Western City welcomes you at the gates of Troyes in Barberey-Saint-Sulpice in a peaceful and green setting.
Western City is a real immersive park for the amateurs of the western world. It reproduces the exact image of a western town with a saloon, a church, barrels, trailers, wagons, a jail and teepees. Its 14 hectares of land offer several shaded areas, picnic tables, an archery course and a river.
Experience a unique Indian experience by sleeping in a teepee. Always remarkable and ingenious, the tipi is easily recognizable with its conical building supported by wooden poles and once surrounded by buffalo hides. Its lining system ensures perfect ventilation in summer and keeps you warm in winter.
Beautifully presented, the layout of the tipis remains true to an Indian camp of the time. The 10 Western City tipis form two circles with a central campfire area. They consist of a white canvas tent with a graded floor. Don't forget to bring an inflatable mattress and a comforter for the comfort of your nights. An outlet is available to turn on the lamp or recharge your phones. As for the toilets and shower, they are in the sanitary room nearby.
For a total immersion in the daily life of the Indians, why not melt into the decor! Dress up like in the old days: long hair decorated with feathers, tunics with wild colors, vests and leather boots! To go further, give yourself a famous Sioux name: Chayton (Falcon), Hototo (warrior spirit that sings), Langundo (peaceful)...and let your imagination transport you into this new world.
