Try your hand at snowshoeing and come celebrate New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Eve at Lac Blanc! Destination Sport Nature has put together an original evening to end the year in style. Guided by a professional, you’ll enjoy an exciting adventure in the heart of the mountains.

Meet in front of the Auberge des Crêtes, in the Vosges mountains of Alsace, at the start of the Lac Blanc ski slopes. From Orbey, you’ll easily reach the Col du Calvaire, where you’ll enjoy a breathtaking view of the lake. Your guide will be waiting for you in front of the Maison Verte in Le Bonhomme to fit out your equipment and brief you on the route. He will then take you on the snowy trails of the Gazon du Faing. A fairly easy circuit offering magnificent panoramic views of the Lac Blanc and the Vallée Blanche.

This 3-hour experience includes supervision by a qualified guide, as well as all the necessary equipment such as snowshoes, poles and torches if required. A glass of Crémant d’Alsace and a hot drink are offered to round off this festive outing.

Although easy, this activity is inaccessible to people with reduced mobility or heart problems. Depending on the weather, the guide reserves the right to modify the route for reasons of safety and comfort. And if there’s no snow, a guided nature outing can replace the snowshoe walk.
