Discover the world of engraving and its different techniques

With Hélène, an engraving artist, come and discover the art of engraving and its different techniques. Hélène organizes engraving workshops in her studio located in the Outre Seille district of Metz, right next to the St Maximin church, known for its stained glass windows created by Jean Cocteau.

It is in this soothing and inspiring place that Hélène welcomes you, and offers you workshops which are as many opportunities to discover, and to apprehend by the practice various techniques of engraving.

On the program of your day, the discovery of different techniques: dry point on different supports (zinc, rhenalon, tetra pak), etching and soft varnish on zinc, linocut on linoleum, monotype on rhenalon… All these terms will have no secret for you!

Accompanied by Hélène, you will have the pleasure to exchange during this complete 5h workshop. In addition to quenching your thirst for learning, you will leave with your matrix (plate) and your prints as a souvenir.
