Passionate or simply curious? Domaine Herbes et Bois invites you to discover the craft of tavailloneur. In this workshop, you’ll follow in the footsteps of the creative craftsmen of yesteryear, creating wooden roofs and shingles, as well as everyday tools and equipment.

Put yourself in the shoes of a tavailloneur for the duration of the workshop! Discover the history of this profession and all its distinctive features. Continue with a demonstration of the various steps involved in making and installing wooden shingles. The workshop ends with a wooden creation of your own, such as a stool, trivet, handle or bowl. Then leave with your own creation as a souvenir!
