Discover the art of woodturning during a one-day workshop with Claude à Troyon, a craftsman who has been passionate about wood for many years. Claude invites you to enter his world and learn how to work with wood.
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of woodworking with this discovery workshop. For 1 day, Claude will share his experience. You’ll have the opportunity to handle a wood lathe and use specific tools. Guided by Claude, you’ll learn the essential gestures for shaping wood and creating unique objects. Whether for decoration, tableware, games or toys.
In addition to technical training, you’ll enjoy a convivial lunch break with Claude. Enjoy a unique experience, bring a piece of wood to life and leave with your own creation.
For your safety, make sure you don’t wear loose-fitting clothes to avoid any risk of winding, and bring warm clothing in cold weather.

The main activity of my workshop is the creation of turned wooden objects using a variety of turning techniques (turning between points, turning in the air, eccentric turning, dissociated turning, etc.). I also offer woodturning discovery courses throughout the year.
