Forge your own knife!
Cutlery craftsman Nicolas opens the doors of his workshop for an introduction to the art of cutlery. In addition to discovering this art, you'll have the opportunity to forge your own knife, accompanied by a seasoned professional!
First of all, you'll get to know each other over a cup of coffee, so that we can define your project for the day. Then, after a few explanations, you'll be able to start forging your own knife as the morning progresses. Of course, Nicolas will be on hand to help you, particularly with certain technical gestures.
We'll have lunch together, during which you can ask any questions you may have!
In the afternoon, Nicolas will explain the heat treatment of your blade, then you'll make a leather sheath to store your knife. Like a real knifemaker for a day, you'll assemble, polish and sharpen your knife.
At the end of the workshop, you'll leave not only with your knife and sheath in your pocket, but also with a wealth of new skills and fond memories of the day!
