The Sonntag family’s former brickyard, which was founded in the early 18th century and closed in 1960, is of municipal importance. Come and see the equipment preserved on the site when it closed. In particular, you’ll discover production equipment from the 1930s, such as the excavator, the manufacturing machine and the various open-air and artificial dryers.
You can also admire the Hoffmann kiln, one of the last vestiges of the industrial revolution. This kiln marked the history of the clay-working industry in the 19th century.
