You’ll start by learning different embroidery stitches, essential for mastering this technique. Next, you’ll explore sashiko, a traditional Japanese art characterized by its refined, repetitive geometric patterns, perfect for embellishing, repairing and reinforcing your garments.

Each session is designed to help you progressively master embroidery techniques, whether you’re a beginner or already have some basic knowledge. You’ll finish the course by embroidering your own garments and accessories, adding a unique and personal touch to your wardrobe.

Atelier Claire Barberot

Claire Barberot is a textile craftswoman who has been based in Strasbourg since 2004.
For over 15 years, she has been creating made-to-measure clothing collections and wedding dresses.
Over the past ten years, drawing on her experience and her desire to pursue an activity more in line with her values, she has turned to embroidery and the passing on of her skills.
All year round, in her workshop, she offers sewing and creative embroidery courses and workshops for beginners and more advanced students, adults, teenagers and children.
