The Old Trades of Azannes

Lace-makers, millers, oil-makers, washerwomen, not forgetting tile-makers and many others… Come and discover the rural life of the 19th century at the Village des Vieux Métiers d’Azannes, which extends over 17 hectares of plains and forest, and you’ll be transported back in time and space.
You’ll be transported back in time and space. You’ll meet craftsmen from the past, in the village that takes you back in time. A change of scenery guaranteed! You’ll be transported into the daily lives of our forefathers, and discover their ancestral know-how, values and passion to be passed on and shared.
400 volunteers are waiting to share with you more than 80 old or disappeared trades, brought back to life before your very eyes.
