Founded in 1850, the Lehmann distillery is the legacy of 6 generations of distillers. Emblematic of the family’s dedication and passion for craft distilling, it opens its doors to you at the foot of the Vosges mountains, in the heart of the Obernai vineyards.
Enjoy a 2-hour guided tour to discover what goes on behind the scenes of this prestigious House! As soon as you arrive, you’ll be warmly welcomed with a glass of wine. Then explore the history and production methods of the whiskies, eaux-de-vie, gin, liqueurs and ratafia for which the Lehmann distillery is renowned. From the fermentation vats to the ageing cellar, via the still room, the whole process will be revealed to you.
At the end of the tour, you’ll be treated to a tasting of Lehmann’s top-of-the-range spirits, accompanied by a Kougelhopf! This Alsatian cake, garnished with raisins, is a true treasure of Alsatian gastronomy, making your experience even more delicious.

Distillerie Lehmann
The Lehmann distillery, located in Obernai, is the oldest distillery in Alsace, where ancestral know-how has been passed down from father to son since 1850. Traditionally, we produce fruit brandies from the Alsace terroir, and since the 2000s, we have successfully launched the production of 100% French whisky. The distillery is proud to hold the Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant (Living Heritage Company) label. This label guarantees the excellence of a rare and ancestral know-how in France.
