I'm a versatile artist and craftswoman born in 1987 in Saint-Dié, Vosges, where I still live with my elderly cats, wool sweaters, hatred of capitalism and piles of books threatening to collapse. My first passion is bookbinding, which I've been self-taught since 2009, with the philosophy that anything can become a book, and anyone can make a book.
I'm also a draughtsman, author, painter, linocutter, embroiderer, papermaker and micro-publisher of small magazines and artist's books. On this platform, I offer courses for all ages and levels, in my own workshop in Saint Dié and other locations.
I'm passionate about natural materials such as cotton, wool, linen and silk. I'm fascinated by traditional textile arts, especially those from the East, ancient motifs, bright colors and handmade paper. I love paper in all its forms, and each technique is a way for me to explore and express the richness and diversity of this incredible material.
My aim is to capture a beauty that, while not spiritual, is sacred in my own way.
In my daily life, I am politically committed to social justice, equality, feminism and popular education. I believe that art should be a common good and a tool for social transformation, not a privilege reserved for the few.
