Housed in a masterpiece of contemporary architecture designed by Shigeru Ban and Jean de Gastines, the Centre Pompidou-Metz houses four exhibition galleries under a spectacular roof inspired by the shape of a Chinese hat. 100 contemporary artists from a wide range of disciplines – painters, sculptors, designers and writers – have taken part in the same exercise: copying.
