Let yourself be tempted by an introduction to the Cyanotype photographic technique, and come and discover an art that combines photography, terminology, chemistry and physics in a fun and creative workshop.
Sir John F.W. Herschell, astronomer, physicist and chemist, was interested in photography and wanted to develop the practice by focusing on his various specialties. Using his photographic skills, he detected the formation of an intense blue image on the support paper and introduced the cyanotype process.
Over the course of 2 hours, you’ll discover a chemical preparation workshop, with supports on display and unveiled to perfect your images. There’s also a question-and-answer session, where you’ll benefit from expert advice on how to create exceptional images.
