This historic treasure, once an 18th-century coaching inn, has been passionately transformed by Monette and René de Miscault into a sanctuary dedicated to the art of distillation. Here you’ll find an exceptional collection, with a rich array of historic pieces, liquid treasures and rare curiosities, all bearing witness to this fascinating Alsatian tradition.

This 1-hour guided tour will take you on a fascinating journey through time and taste. The experience begins with an immersion in the history of this family-run business, before introducing you to the subtle art of distilling eaux de vie. From sparkling stills to bottles waiting to be filled, every step of the process will be revealed to you.

Beyond distillation, the museum will amaze you with its collection of 8,000 mignonettes and its variety of bistro decanters, magnificent glass carboys and 18th-century bottles. One of the highlights of the exhibition is a collection of 300 liqueur bottles from the 1950s. In addition, you’ll have the privilege of discovering fascinating objects linked to Absinthe, from its prohibition in 1915 to its resurgence in 1998.
After this exciting exploration, end your visit with a guided tasting session, where you’ll have the opportunity to sample a selection of the distillery’s products. Eaux de vie, liqueurs, crèmes and, of course, absinthe will be on offer, and for the miners, a delicious syrup.
