Music lovers, don’t miss the 8th season of the Musicales en Barrois Festival! Once again this year,a cascade of concerts awaits you to celebrate Baroque music and heritage.
An exceptional program in an exceptional setting: the remarkable Renaissance setting of the Ville Haute and the historic quarters of the Ville Basse will be the setting for musical emotions offered by highly talented artists. The magic of music and stone, welcome to the Festival de musiques baroques (Ancient Music in the Present) – les Musicales en Barrois!
Come and experience music in concert, and discover the richness and diversity of a program of renowned quality: 4 exceptional concerts, 1 conference and 1 springboard concert for young artists, and 5 Escales Musicales in the stone and greenery of the Renaissance town, all over 3 days on May 24, 25 and 26, 2024.

16h at Église St-Hilaire de Longeville-en-Barrois : Récréations Baroques | Duration 1h15 | Ensemble Stravaganza – Works by F. Couperin, E. Jacquet de la Guerre, J.M. Leclair, Marin Marais.
8:30 pm at Eglise Saint-Jean in Bar-le-Duc: Concerto Madrigalesco | Duration 1h15 | The Faenza ensemble transports us to Rome in the mid-17th century. Ercole Bernabei composed the Concerto Madrigalesco a tre voci diverse in 1669, fifteen poetic madrigals in the modern concertante style, dedicated to Flavio Orsini, Duke of Bracciano.
