Planetarium shows at the Jardin des sciences
Looking for an escape? The Planetarium du Jardin des Sciences, located in Strasbourg’s Neustadt district, offers you a unique adventure into the mysteries of the Universe. Immerse yourself in immersive shows that will transport you among the stars, planets and galaxies.
In this cultural district, the Planetarium coexists with museums and gardens. This immersive auditorium is dedicated to astronomy, with projections onto a hemispherical dome. Thanks to a 15 m diameter screen, inclined at 18°, 360° projection and an astronomical simulator, you’ll be totally immersed in space.
Pick up your boarding pass, pass through the decompression airlock and settle comfortably into your recliner. Planetarium experts will guide you through the wonders of the Universe, with a selection of films. Like a weightless astronaut, you’ll explore space with family, friends and fellow enthusiasts. Elevation, wonder and a change of scenery guaranteed!
Several shows are on offer, including Noisettes, GranPa & Zoé – Mission: Lumière and Mystérieux Univers sombre. These films are designed to suit all audiences, including those with reduced mobility. However, it is important to check the age limits, as some of them may not be suitable for young children. Please note that the list of films is subject to change.
Accompaniment includes audioguide headsets with English or German translation, with image replacement text, and a magnetic induction loop system. To optimize organization, please arrive 15 minutes before the start of the show.
