Your departure point is Strasbourg. You'll be met by an experienced guide who will accompany you throughout the tour.
Colmar: the bewitching wine capital! In Colmar, the signposted tour takes you to the Little Venice and Tannery districts, then on to the Pfister House, the Koïfhus and the Collegiate Church of Saint Martin. Rich in culture and historic monuments, each corner is full of pleasant surprises. The visit is a real discovery.
Eguisheim: a real feast for the eyes, with its half-timbered houses featuring brightly-colored pointed roofs and flower-filled facades. At first glance, they're charming, but then you're immersed in a warm, cheerful atmosphere. Eguisheim has been preserved from the ravages of time and has kept its appealing medieval style intact.
Riquewihr: classed as one of France's most beautiful villages, it lies between the Alsace plain and the crests of the Vosges mountains. Riquewihr has preserved its medieval architecture, as well as its wines, hence the appellation 'Pearl of the Alsatian vineyards'.
Here, you'll have free time to enjoy lunch and local specialities.
Charge your batteries well, as the Alsace Wine Route offers incredible backdrops for superb photos. Lovers of fine photography will find this itinerary to be one of their favorite destinations.
Your day ends with a visit to the imposing Château du Haut Koenigsbourg. Step back in time and discover this fortress that served as a strategic position to control the wine and wheat routes to the north and the salt route to the east. After this visit, return to Strasbourg.
