The history of street names in Troyes dates back to the Middle Ages. In those days, inhabitants named streets according to their functional, topographical or social characteristics. Later, some streets were named or renamed in honor of prominent figures such as Zola, Poincaré, Clemenceau or de Gaulle. This tour, led by an enthusiastic guide, will tell you more about the fascinating stories behind their names.

The tour is scheduled for 2pm on Saturday, April 20, with a second session available at 3pm, by prior arrangement. It will take you through the picturesque streets of the old town, for an experience lasting around 45 min.

The tour is available for up to 35 adults per group. Children aged 6 and over are welcome. To ensure the best possible experience, please arrive at the meeting point 10 min before the tour begins.
