The first day begins with a visit to Les Émaux de Longwy. Enjoy a guided tour of the historic factory, still in operation today, and explore the techniques that have made these unique pieces famous. An introduction to enamel laying will enable you to create your own enamel piece. In the afternoon, take a step back in time as you discover the Vauban fortifications, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. An enthusiastic guide will reveal the secrets of their construction and their strategic role in the city’s defense.
The second day is dedicated to Longwy’s industrial history, another pillar of the town’s identity. In the morning, discover the former steelworks offices, vestiges of the steelmaking era. These majestic buildings house a treasure of great beauty: the Majorelle stained-glass windows. Nicknamed the « cathedral of light », these exceptional stained glass windows bear witness to Longwy’s industrial golden age.
To round off your stay in style, enjoy a 2-hour initiation to the Longwy international golf course. Set on former industrial wastelands, this course will enable you to discover the transformation of these emblematic sites while perfecting your swing.
