Sustainable, participatory tourism with cultural exchanges. In a nutshell, this is what awaits you during this 2-hour activity off the beaten track. This no less original activity, free of charge and effective for up to 6 participants, will immerse you in the daily life of the city’s inhabitants.
On the program: several activities such as bike rides or hikes in the forest or vineyards, accompanied by a volunteer. Passionate and committed, they’ll show you their favorite spots and neighborhoods. Places that make up the richness of the town and the region, and that don’t always feature in tourist guides…

The GREETERS DE TROYES ET DE L'AUBE is a slowtourism and participative tourism offer that allows visitors to have an authentic and warm meeting with an inhabitant of the Aube, free of charge, during 2 hours.
An invitation to an original stroll and an enriching cultural experience where our "super volunteer inhabitants" welcome you as friends to tell you about their neighborhoods, personal stories and anecdotes in order to discover the city or the countryside in their own way, as they live it every day!
Developed in nearly 120 destinations around the world and more than 60 in France, these Greeters networks involve residents in the promotion of their territory, defend local tourism and contribute to the enhancement of heritage through cultural exchange and the creation of social ties.
