Whatever the case, don’t miss this larger-than-life historical re-enactment. Solo, with friends or family, relive this key event of the 39-45 War in Alsace as it actually happened.
Taking the form of a traditional Alsatian village, the Écomusée d’Alsace – in partnership with the associations Soldats d’hier and Alsacemilitaria – will plunge you into the heart of history, in an ultra-realistic setting. Thanks to this activity, young and old alike will take a real leap back in time.
This exceptional historical re-enactment will enable you to meet Allied soldiers, as well as those of the German mountain troops. They’ll show you what life was like in the camps!

Ecomusée d'Alsace
L'ÉCOMUSÉE D'ALSACE, A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE IN THE HEART OF NATURE
--
BUILDINGS & BIODIVERSITY
Today, the Ecomusée d'Alsace consists of a village of 80 buildings representative of Alsace at the beginning of the 20th century, all dismantled from their commune of origin and reassembled in the museum. Around the village, on an area of 97 hectares, you'll find 4 signposted trails to discover biodiversity, as well as agricultural areas in biological transition.
Be curious! Push open the door of each house to discover the treasures it contains: a converted interior, an exhibition, a craftsman's workshop or a stable with animals!

LABEL MUSÉE DE FRANCE
The Ecomusée d'Alsace boasts an exceptional collection of over 40,000 objects, reflecting the daily lives of Alsatians. When the museum was created in 1984, Alsatians became passionate about this adventure and began sending regular donations to the museum.
