Excursion and wine tasting at Champagne MARC
Champagne lovers, enjoy unusual winegrowing sensory experiences with Maison Marc. Located in Fleury-la-Rivière, on the edge of the Marne Valley, the estate is close to Epernay.
Discover the exceptionally aromatic champagnes of Maison Marc. From an unusual terroir and clay-limestone soil, these champagnes come from 30-year-old vines grown in a sustainable way to produce exceptional wines: Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier.
During this experience, plunge into the heart of Champagne’s heritage through 3 tasting and sensory workshops. The program includes a visit to the vineyards in a 4×4, where the winemaker will introduce you to the Champagne region and its wines, as well as a foie-gras tasting accompanied by a Perla-Néra grand cru cuvee.
Continue with a tour of an old cellar and an 1889 wine press. You’ll be served a plate of cheeses to match their Blanc de Blancs. The tour ends with a visit to the winery. Take part in an on-the-fly disgorging test before sampling a chocolate and Champagne Rosé pairing.
