Experience Buissonnière® Chez Colette, from the field to the plate!
Who’s up for picking edible plants in the wild? If you answered “me”, then visit Colette from May to September, except August. As a poultry farmer and outstanding cook, she’ll teach you how to recognize plants and cook them like a chef. Don’t forget your harvest basket!
Who doesn’t remember the little red hen who found a grain of wheat and set about making bread from it? Just like her, enjoy the pleasure of making a dish from the fruit of your harvest. With family or friends, take a walk in the woods in search of wild plants and learn the art of preparing them. Colette will give you some tips on how to reproduce her recipes at home.
As you’d expect, this gourmet activity concludes with a delicious meal at Colette’s farmhouse inn. A complete meal with starter, main course and dessert. If you’re going to enjoy a unique truancy experience, why not take it all the way?
Please note that this activity, offered by the Bruche Valley Tourist Office, requires a minimum of 4 participants.

Office de Tourisme de la vallée de la Bruche
Just 45 minutes west of the Alsace metropolis, the Bruche valley stretches from the foothills in the heart of the Massif des Vosges to the borders of Lorraine. Bordered by the highest peaks in the Lower Rhine, the valley combines forest massifs, medium-altitude pastures and high stubble fields.
The valley is crossed by the Bruche river, a natural "link" between the sandstone and granite Vosges, from which it takes its name.
An unusual feature of the Alsatian landscape, the Bruche valley, with its Vosges-style appearance and ancient French-speaking tradition, is nonetheless proud of its art of living, which says it all about being Alsace!
